Succes! I Think

I managed to upload some music from my iTunes playlist. Which means, I'm assuming, I can do the same with voices. Next: Jim and I do a practice podcast, with just us. I've already told him I'm running things around here. External mike, Skype, etc. And still trying to figure out how to configure the blog here; it's a three column layout but I'm only seeing two, little things like that. But I'm getting closer!

Welcome to Cafe Esoterica, Or: What the Hell Am I Doing?

This is Cafe Esoterica's home planet. This is a Typepad platform, not one I've tried before. Since Bill and Nancy Birnes of Future Theater/UFO Magazine fame use Typepad for their Future Theater podcasts, I thought I'd give it a try. After looking around at several set-ups for podcasting, I've decided that this seems the most friendly to my needs. Which are, what? No idea yet except to say: SIMPLE!

So I'll be playing around with themes and the look of the place; not crazy about this one but it's okay. I like the Art Deco style one with a ship and no doubt will have that up soon, but it doesn't have anything to do with Cafe Esoterica. Then again, why not? Ship of Fools traveling the Fortean Seas. . . .

I'll also be posting a test podcast (once I get the digital to match up to my Mac) but I'm hoping for the first, official Cafe Esoterica to be in about three weeks; where I and Jim will be at the McMinnville UFO Festival.
